Sit & Train

(Reward-Based Training using only Positive Scientific Methods)

Our Sit and Train program is designed for anyone whose dog needs training. We will come to your house and train your dog while you’re out of town or just away at work. Sit and Train is a great alternative to Board and Train. 1 Visit per day. Each visit is a 50-minute training & play session. We also take your dog(s) out to potty and make sure they have fresh water while we’re there. We request a virtual (Zoom) meeting once every week during training with all household members to teach you how to use your dog’s new skills.

If you have a busy schedule, it’s difficult to find time to train your dog. This is NOT JUST a dog walking or pet sitting service. We will train any companion dog skill. We will also work on behavior modification for reactive or aggressive dogs. Here’s how it works:

  1. Meet with us to establish your training goals.
  2. Select a Package.
  3. Complete the Information Form, Contract and Vet Release.
  4. We will send you photos and updates with each visit.
  5. Follow the instructions provided to you to provide reinforcement of skills and consistency for your dog.

** Please inquire about more serious behavior concerns such as dogs with Bite History. **

We request a virtual (Zoom) meeting with all family members once every week during the training process so that we can go over what we’ve accomplished so far and show you how to use your dog’s new skills.
